Prior to the Pandemic, we originally planned, in the spring of 2022, to travel independently as a family, and begin the first leg of our ambitious attempt to circumnavigate the world in a Land Rover Defender 130.
Currently, we are seeking ways to raise funds to allow us to fulfil this dream. A combination of covid delays and unexpected vehicle upgrades has meant that our budget was eaten up
As soon as the funds are in place, we will be sending Mandy to Canada in a 40′ container and our dream will start for real, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After exploring the wilds of Canada, we’ll travel up the Dalton Highway as far north as Deadhorse, Alaska before heading down as far south as Ushuaia, Argentina.

In all, it will take up to 2 years and around 60 thousand KM of driving, passing through over 20 countries, before we hopefully arrive, stinking, covered in mud, at the very southern tip of the American continent….
